Food Friday: Feta rolls
One of my favorite kinds of cheese is feta, so I knew I would fit right in when I ate in Athens. Greek food uses feta in all sorts of ways, especially with bread, and I tried many variations of that combo. These were one of the most delicious things I found.
They’re rolls with gooey dough and feta in the middle that are drizzled with honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds. I was a little bit skeptical about the honey being paired with cheese, but it was absolutely delicious—so much so that I went to this restaurant two nights in a row for these. I would definitely go back to Athens just to eat these again!
